Dye Hard 5K Color Run

The Dye Hard 5K, the newest Sports Commission Signature Event, debuted in the summer of 2018.  An untimed running event, the Dye Hard 5K, provides participants with an opportunity to have fun with friends and family while getting covered in fluorescent colored powder.  And don’t forget about the post-event party with music, dancing and even more powder. Yakima Hot Shots 3-On-3 Basketball Tournament

July 27-28, 2024

More than 240 teams and 950 players participated in the 19th Annual Hot Shots 3-on-3 Tournament in 2023, bringing approximately 3,000 people to the Sozo Sports Complex. Visit HotShots3on3.com for more information.

SunDome Volleyball Festival

September 13-14, 2024

Sixty-four (64) high school varsity volleyball teams from Washington and Oregon, as well as 16 junior varsity teams, will participate in the SunDome Volleyball Festival.
